An informal introduction to the Open File archive, followed by the production of a new sound work in and around ‘Old Birmingham.’
We invite you to join us for a walk and an open discussion of the area’s history with an accompanying visual essay. Using binaural recording techniques we aim to capture a mixture of conversation alongside the incidental ambient sound of the area surrounding Grand Union.
Mulled wine and mince pies will be served in the gallery. No need to book.
