David Poole

David Poole’s film and installation practice considers the cinematic in all forms. As film is described as sculpting in time, the artist focuses on drawing the illusory quality of cinema out into three dimensions. Humour, appropriation and performance regularly feature, whilst through installation the works interrogate the dual definition of the ‘screen’, an object that at once reveals and obscures.

David is currently an artist in residence in our BCU graduate workspace.
