Overview
Besse, a Trilogy ‘Water, Hops & Rye’ is a three part series of short operas written and composed by Infinite Opera. In collaboration with Digbrew and Grand Union, Besse will merge the worlds of beers and opera through the unique vision of a character that champions feminism through fermentation.
Rye, the third and final part of this event series, will take place at Digbrew on Friday 10 May at 8pm.
In the grusome aftermath, Besse tries desperatly to find a way to reverse her fate. As she deals with her guilt, relentless inquisitor excited the crowds against her. There will be a 5 minute ‘previously on Besse’ prior to the performance if you missed part 1 and 2 of the opera series.
Beer for part II, Rye: ‘Dark Abess’. IPA made with columbus and mosaic hops – 6.5% – Limited edition 440ml can included in ticket price.
