Infinite Opera Performance for drye eyes

1 March 2019

Overview

In conjunction with Lauren Gault’s exhibition dry eyes, Infinite Opera were newly-commissioned to perform in response to the show, looking into sound and performance as a formal object.

Infinite Opera explored the identity of drye eyes in a performance which embodied the sonic in between of thoughts and understandings. The duration of the performance was 15 minutes, performed in two instalments.

Infinite Opera is a Birmingham based opera troupe, creating new works to explain and describe the wonders of our universe through the art form of opera. Infinite Opera were BCU graduates in residence in 2019.
