Suzi Osborn

Suzi Osborn is a sculptor whose work is concerned with understanding architectural utopianism in a state of post-millennial retromania, where the visual lexicon of futurity itself begins to appear dated. Paradise Circus is a site of particular interest, its unfinished state/ continued deferral demonstrates the precarious relationship between ideas and their physical manifestation.

Recent work examines the use of Pattern within the spatial fabric of the city, from Modernism to Dazzle and the Neo-liberal architecture of the envelope, thinking about the ways in which artificial environments court affective responses in the viewer.
