Alberta Whittle’s ‘Congregation: Creating Dangerously’ culminated in the 2022 Harvest Dinner at Minerva Works.
This congregation was organised to celebrate our communal efforts towards sustenance, shelter, witness, and critique, as well as to serve a meal from the harvest of our community garden. Working with our local communities, the celebration served as an opportunity to develop an event linking carnival and harvest traditions. The Harvest Festival aims to tend to joy through congregation that marks a long-term commitment to fellowship, and to exalt in the multifaceted benefits of recognising our ties with each other and with the land.
