We were delighted to host Leipzig based artist Anna Schimkat in residence at Grand Union as part of Longbridge Public Art Project’s Light Festival in Autumn 2014.
Anna’s work comes out of a scientific approach to research in a particular context. She is interested in the processes, causes and rules of natural, social and cultural realities, using them to create works that focus on the experience and sensation of space.
Anna was commissioned by WERK to create a sound and light piece for Longbridge Light Festival, 25 October 2014.
