overview
Join us in Grand Union gallery for a summer studio sale. Coinciding with the August edition of Digbeth First Friday, studio holders will be selling editions, ceramics, prints, books, sculptures and more!
Feminists Work for Change will be selling FWFC merch – t-shirts, totes and brooches. All funds raised will go to Baobab Women’s Project, a West Midlands refugee and asylum seeker grassroots women’s advocacy project. They provide advice and support including assistance with immigration, health and housing. FWFC will also be selling poetry books and artwork produced by women working with Baobab Women’s Project, so please do come along and show your support.
We will also be selling a malted loaf bread and evolving artwork by Laura Wilson. We are working with Laura to connect bakeries and galleries through veda bread including TACO, Site Gallery and Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art.
Artists: Infinite Opera, Modern Clay, Joyce Treasure, Betsy Bradley, Navi Kaur & Larissa Shaw, Joanne Masding, Alison Baskerville, Feminists Work for Change, Jo Capper and Kirsty Clarke (growing Project), Laura Wilson, Carolyn Morton.
