Do you work in the arts?
Do you want to do something about Brexit?
But you don’t know what? And with whom?
We were joined by many for Unite Against Dividers, a weekend full of activities, debates and questions about what the arts should do after the EU referendum. At Grand Union we hosted a free communal lunch, to give people the opportunity to talk together and take action. There were events happening all over the UK, and to see the full weekend schedule please visit the website.
Unite Against Dividers is organised by Keep It Complex, a group of women artists, designers and arts administrators. They bring together cultural workers to take a stand against our current white dick politics, from Brexit to Bannon. Keep It Complex formed out of the Britain Is Not An Island campaign which we ran during the EU referendum.
They have published a handbook which will declare their budget, share contacts and provide other useful information. Add to their reading list on the hackpad.
