In Snuff 1976 Aras remakes the entire soundtrack to the Northern American low budget film Snuff, produced in Argentina. A two channel video, Snuff plays through one channel and the process of remaking the soundtrack in the other.

An afternoon of readings, artist films and conversation exploring the murky, slippery space of communication and translation between the self and the other.
– Memory as a contestatory force, a talk with Dr Lorraine Ryan
Thursday 17 October, 6pm – 7pm
Lorraine Ryan will share her research on collective memory and the modes through which dominant memory is disrupted or resisted and counter-memories emerge.
– Dyfodiaith Screening + Q&A with Paul Eastwood
Friday 1 November, 6pm – 7pm
In Dyfodiaith, Eastwood explores the constructs of language, notions of otherness and the potential of multilingualism through a future-past language.
